The Path to Washington

"How can we significantly and measurably improve our environment and solve our most pressing ecoogical problems?" - MSWG Website

The Path to Washington is a 3-year research and dialogue process to produce a new set of commonly-understood, broadly-supported legal and policy tools which, when applied to our country's serious location-specific environmental problems, will improve ecological conditions, sustain communities, and improve the quality of life of all people.

"The Coastal Bend Bays Foundation (CBBF) is the local conduit for the biggest thing to come along in the national environmental law and policy change potential in a while. The Multi-State Working Group (MSWG) is making all the right moves as it focuses on ecology, economy and sustainability, while maintaining essential minimums necessary for public assistance. We have come a long way since many environmental laws and regs were promulgated, and most could use an overhaul. Presidential candiates have all been briefied by MSWG, and a Congressional visit is scheduled for 2009." - CBBF Board of Directors President, Carlton Buddy Stanley, April 2008.
